Miriam Paul Thacker is a lifelong learner and competitor. She is also a senior tax executive with20+ years of experience working in global corporate finance for iconic global companies like The Coca-Cola Company and Google. Choosing corporate tax over litigation in law school, Miriam liked the idea of bringing people together to collaborate in a boardroom as opposed to dividing them further in the courtroom.
Miriam currently serves as VP and Head of Tax at Docusign. Collaborating with the global finance team to help grow the business and mitigate risk globally. Prior to Docusign, Miriam served as the VP and Head of Global Tax and Trade for Ampere, and in global corporate tax at Google, The Coca-Cola Company and Sullivan & Cromwell for over 20 years.
A former college athlete, Miriam is a runner for life and believes strongly in the connection of women leaders and sports. She is passionate about gender equity and diversity, working hard to create leadership opportunities for girls and women. This aligns with the Women’s Coaching Alliance’s core mission.
Miriam serves on the audit committee for Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton, and regularly volunteers with Election Protection and Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. She strives to make a difference in her community. Miriam has attended the University of California at Los Angeles, the University of Calgary, Howard University School of Law and Georgetown University Law Center, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Juris Doctor.
