The half day WCA  Leadership Academy for New Coaches and the half day WCA Leadership Academy for Returning Coaches will both be held on August 15th on the Aragon High school campus. The exact time for each is TBD. Program details for each are as follows:

New Coach Academy: All coaches hired by WCA attend a pre-season leadership academy to ensure they are prepared and confident to hit the field day one.  The WCA Leadership Academy is your first step into an empowered community of coaching experts & leader mentors who will help you discover the power of coaching and grow your confidence and leadership skills. With carefully crafted lessons & dynamic workshops, you will dive into your role as a youth sports coach and role model for the next generation.All coaches hired by WCA attend a pre-season leadership academy to ensure they are prepared and confident to hit the field day one.  The WCA Leadership Academy is your first step into an empowered community of coaching experts & leader mentors who will help you discover the power of coaching and grow your confidence and leadership skills. Returning Coach Academy: This is for coaches who have already completed one or more seasons with WCA and are ready to take the next step in their leadership journey. Coaches will reflect on their past experiences, explore feedback from mentors, and develop a clear coaching and leadership philosophy that reflects their values and purpose. Through interactive activities, they’ll learn how to apply this philosophy to leading their teams, shaping positive player experiences, and strengthening their own leadership in sports, in life, and even in future opportunities like careers or college applications.
