Magda Marcel

Director of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships

Magda brings her consulting and technology expertise—and a passion for women’s leadership and sports—to the Women’s Coaching Alliance. At Accenture and Slalom, she led large-scale programs across 10+ industries and functions. Later, she held leadership roles at Slack/Salesforce, helping grow the Professional Services team from just 1 person to over 200.

Magda thrives on building from scratch, making connections, and connecting dots.

With a background in Change Management, she brings a human-centric and design-minded approach to leadership, always mindful of how people experience and adapt to change.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Magda is a first-generation American and the first in her family to graduate from college. While at Case Western Reserve University, she interned at NASA’s Johnson Space Center and worked for the Cleveland Cavaliers, where her passion for sports first blended with her career.Now living in Berkeley with her husband Mark and two doodle dogs, Molly and Moosey, Magda stays busy outside of work as an assistant coach for a high school girls' varsity basketball team.

She’s also an amateur potter, plant mom, at-home mixologist, and hiker.
